AWARDS

The Lillian Holbrook Future Educators Scholarship

The foundation believes that the cornerstone of a strong education are our parents and teachers and assures it is our responsibility to invest in the future by investing in our students today. With that belief, the Bridgewater Raynham Educational Foundation established a future educators scholarship that will be awarded every year to a graduating senior from the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School who is entering into a teacher preparation program. With the establishment of this scholarship, the Foundation is recognizing a retired Bridgewater-Raynham teacher who spent 31 years teaching and after retirement decided that she had more work to do and focused her efforts on establishing The Bridgewater-Raynham Educational Foundation. The scholarship will be known as “The Lillian Holbrook Future Educators Scholarship”.

Judy MacDougall Award of Excellence Recipient

The recipient of the award worked behind the scenes to help create the Foundation and worked tirelessly after hours to help get the Foundation off the ground. The amount of pride the award recipient has for the communities and the success of our students is evident in all that she does and second only to the pride she has for her own family. As the matriarch of a military family, the award recipient knows and understands the meaning of service for the greater good. Her commitment to the students and families of the District is remarkable. Her positive attitude and uplifting spirit impacts everyone she comes in contact with.
